The research study is about Weny’s Garden Located at Brgy. Bonga Panay Capiz Philippines 20 minutes from Roxas,City and just 1.25 km away from the town of Panay and Opens to the public 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We have conducted surveys of different kinds of plants, butterflies and other relevant information to market the place to the public. The place is very conducive and educational to students who will have a field trip and even just to have a tour because of different information you can see from signages.

The land area of the place is 5, 000 sq. m which is divided by an ornamental area, pet area, vegetable area, pond, and even a butterfly garden that has different species of butterflies. The place is unique because of its technique of using organic materials to grow the plants and how they breed butterflies.  

In the ornamental areas have different kinds of plants such as flowers and foliage. They are grown by the use of organic materials. The care taker maintained it properly by controlling the growth and using standards of gardening.

Pet area composes of rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, bantam chickens, inland turtles, lizards, wild cats, love birds, doves and others. These animals are being fed naturally and taken good care of.  The Weny’s garden are breeding these animals to multiple at the mentioned area and even sells the new breed animal to the market.

The other area of the place is the vegetable garden. It composes of molungay, saluyot, okra, bawang and others that’s almost completes the “ Bahay Kubo “ song. Organic materials are being used in the process of growing. The vegetables being grown are for sale and others are being fed to the animals at the pet area.

One of the most beautiful area in the place is the butterfly garden. In this place you can find different species of butterfly and different unique colors which cultured by them. They follow the natural way of producing these butterflies by means of supporting the natural life cycle from egg, larva, cocoon to butterfly. They even have souvenir shops that  sells products made of preserved butterflies.

As a whole this beautiful garden shows its mission and vision to the community the main reason as to protect and save mother earth by means of practicing the natural way of taking care of our nature.
